HOME > DISCOVER JESOLO > DESIGN, FASHION & SHOPPING

Since the end of the Second World War, Jesolo has continued to evolve and move with the times, whilst continuing to be true to itself in a world where style and design are ever changing.

Via Bafile is Europe’s longest shopping street at 13 km. When walking along it you will be able to notice this mixture of styles in iconic buildings from the seventies  and more modern structures of design.

Move among the craft workshops, designer boutiques and many small shops that light up the pearl of the Adriatic. There are plenty of opportunities to visit typical local markets, buy souvenirs or simply do some shopping.

If you do not want to sacrifice a bit of shopping even when on holiday, you can visit the Jesolo’s Laguna Shopping centre and the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Noventa di Piave.

Since the middle of the nineties the town has undergone considerable architectural development, which has not yet finished. Change started with an urban development plan drawn up by the famous architect, Kenzo Tange, with the aim of making Jesolo a modern city with everything you need.

The urban plan, thought through to the smallest detail to improve the close relationship between design and wellness, has attracted world-famous names and studies who are endeavouring to make Jesolo Italy’s coastal design capital.
