Around Jesolo

Discover the area

Everything at your fingertips

Starting from Jesolo you can discover cities of art, food and wine routes, and nature spots for your hiking or biking trips.

Not to be missed is first and foremost Venice, a city suspended in time that has fascinated its visitors for centuries with its canals, numerous arts, narrow streets and typical bacari. To have an unforgettable experience, you can’t help but attend one of the internationally renowned events: the colorful Carnevale (between January and March), the traditional Festa del Redentore (third Sunday in July) and Festa della Sensa (May), the Regatta of the Maritime Republics (between May and July) and the Regata Storica (September), the glittering Venice International Film Festival (first week of September) and finally Città in Festa, which from November to January tinges the city of water with a Christmas atmosphere.

But Veneto is not only Venice: the region has many natural and artistic beauties, easily reachable from Jesolo: the beauty of art cities such as Verona, Vicenza and, even closer, Treviso, or the most evocative destinations in the Dolomites, for an absolutely unique enchanted panorama, without forgetting the Prosecco hills with their many historic wineries and the great spas of Abano and Montegrotto, Caldiero and Recoaro, await you within a few hours’ drive.

Discover Veneto

Venice, the gem of the Veneto 20km away

Venice is only 20km as the crow flies from Jesolo, so if you would like to spend a different day, immersed in history, art and culture, choose the Serenissima for your excursion.

In this section you will find some useful tips for a day visit to Venice, to admire its wonders and catch the full spirit of this thousand-year-old city, which will leave you speechless.

The Venice Lagoon

The Venice Lagoon is a unique environment where nature and culture are intertwined like nowhere else in the world: enjoy unforgettable experiences among landscapes, food and wine, ancient crafts and traditional festivals.

Three are the main celebrities of the Lagoon, namely the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello, which often form the basis of a single day tour.

Locations near Jesolo

Also not to be missed is Treviso, a romantic and picturesque city in which to get lost on foot, discovering the historic center within the walls, where ancient and modern blend together.

Padua, famous for art (such as Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel, just to cite an example of excellence), history, culture and science. And again, Bassano del Grappa, an artisanal city famous for its ceramics and culinary tradition.
