MOON – Between Earth and Space
From July 9, 2026, to January 6, 2027
The exhibition explores the Moon not only as a celestial body or a destination in space, but as a presence that has always accompanied humanity: a calendar, a myth, a source of imagination and poetry, an object of scientific observation, and a gateway to the future of exploration. The exhibition takes visitors on a journey that begins with the naked eye, passes through the constellations, Galileo, and the birth of modern astronomy, and culminates in rockets, the Apollo missions, Artemis, and the new frontiers of space.
MOON is spread over two floors: the first is dedicated to observing the sky, the wonders of the Moon, instruments, poetry, lunar geology, and the Digital Planetarium; the second is dedicated to the journey to the Moon, astronautics, artifacts, immersive experiences, VR, robots, and the Astronaut School—an interactive area where children, families, and adults can test their skills in balance, reflexes, movement, gravity, and teamwork.
In addition to immersive and interactive experiences, the exhibition features materials, images, instruments, original photographs, astronauts’ autographs, and a piece of the Moon, with content validated by a scientific committee and in collaboration with leading partners such as INAF—the National Institute for Astrophysics—and UAI—the Italian Amateur Astronomers’ Union.
An exhibition designed for families, children, tourists, schools, enthusiasts, and anyone with a sense of curiosity. An experience to be enjoyed with your nose in the air and your body on the move, blending science, imagination, and discovery.
