The Jesolo Beach & Kite Festival is ready to write a new chapter in its history. The 2027 edition, scheduled for April 9–11, will host an official stop on the World Kite Cup, the prestigious international circuit organized by the ISKF (International Sport Kite Competition) and dedicated to acrobatic kite flying.

The announcement was made during the World Kite Cup in Berck-sur-Mer, France—one of the most important events on the global kiteboarding scene—where the organizers from R-SKY Events officially confirmed Jesolo’s inclusion in the competition’s international calendar.

This recognition is the result of the long-standing collaboration between R-SKY Events and the Filovola association, chaired by the festival’s artistic director, Filippo Gallina—a partnership that, over the years, has helped organize some of the most important international kite-flying events.

In 2027, Jesolo Beach will host the first round of the World Kite Cup dedicated to two-line acrobatic kites, open to all categories. The event will bring the best pilots from around the world to the Jesolo coastline, confirming the city’s increasingly central role on the international kite-flying scene.

Being included in the World Kite Cup calendar marks a new and important milestone for the Beach & Kite Festival, which over the years has become Italy’s largest kite-themed event and attracts tens of thousands of visitors every spring. The selection of this event as a World Kite Cup stop recognizes the quality of its organization, Jesolo’s international appeal, and the city’s ability to host world-class events.

From April 9 to 11, 2027, the Beach & Kite Festival will offer the public three days of entertainment, art, and sports.
