Summer 2026 in Jesolo: All the Latest Beach Updates

With the arrival of summer, the new provisions of the 2026 beach ordinance take effect, designed to make Jesolo’s beach even more enjoyable, orderly, and environmentally friendly.

Starting Friday, May 1, one of the main changes involves the smoking ban on the beach: smoking will no longer be permitted on the sand, but only in designated smoking areas set up by beach operators. The ban does not apply to the boardwalk or beach kiosks, which may still choose to comply voluntarily.

There’s also news for those traveling with their dogs: they will be allowed to walk along the shoreline from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., while during the day the existing rules remain in effect, allowing access only along the promenade.

With regard to mobility, please note that bicycles are not permitted on the seaside promenade in order to ensure pedestrian safety.

As for services, the kiosks will be open daily from May 23 to September 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting), ensuring uninterrupted service throughout the season.

The schedule for the beach season has also been finalized: beach facilities will begin setting up on May 11, while they will close gradually between September 20 and 27, depending on the beach section.

Outside of these dates, facilities may still remain open, provided they comply with safety regulations and continue to provide the required services.
