Pan and Vin 2026

The tradition of Pan e Vin is revived in the historic center of Jesolo and in Cortellazzo on Monday, January 5. An event that brings together young and old alike for pinza, mulled wine and socks for the kids, in the warmth of the bonfire.

In ancient times, the Pan and Vin was a propitiatory rite: people would gather around the fire to pray for good harvests in the new year. According to popular tradition, the bonfire was also meant to light the way for the Three Wise Men on their journey to the Nativity grotto.

In the historic center of Jesolo the bonfire will be lit at 5 p.m..
In Cortellazzo, in the Borgo delle Meraviglie, near the bridge, the lighting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m..
