The JMuseo presents “Memories of Jesolo”– Portrait of an Era: Cavazuccherina – Jesolo 1915, a handcrafted landscape diorama that recreates the historic center as it was over a century ago. Houses, the town hall, the church, the inn, and the school take shape in a detailed model, the result of careful research based on archival photographs.
Among the most evocative features are the navigable Cavetta Canal and the vaporetto docks that once connected Jesolo to Venice, bearing witness to a simple yet vibrant daily life. The exhibition offers an authentic glimpse into the city’s roots, inviting visitors to rediscover the sense of community that still defines it today.
It was created by three residents of Jesolo: Maurizio De Zotti, Graziano Danieli, and Nicola Bonotto. A tribute to the memory and identity of the region.
