Jesolo Recognized for Its Cycling Infrastructure: 4 BikeSmile Awards from FIAB Italia
For the seventh consecutive year, Jesolo has been recognized as a “Cycling-Friendly Municipality” by FIAB Italia, the association that promotes sustainable mobility nationwide. And this year brings some good news: the city has earned an additional BikeSmile, bringing its total to four—a milestone that confirms Jesolo’s commitment to becoming increasingly welcoming to those who choose to get around by bicycle.
Visitors to Jesolo can count on an ever-expanding and safer network of bike paths, with routes that wind along the coast, through the city center, and into the countryside—ideal for exploring the area in an active and sustainable way. The new bike paths, the introduction of 30 km/h zones, and targeted investments are making the city increasingly bike-friendly, perfect for those who love to explore by bike.
And that’s not all: upcoming projects include a new bike path on Via Drago and a number of initiatives to promote and better publicize all the available routes.
