Trekking and Nordic Walking
If you love hiking, here in Jesolo you’ll find plenty of trails to explore the countryside and the most beautiful beach on the Upper Adriatic. Or you can join the Nordic Walking Jesolo, practicing this fun and dynamic form of fitness, and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Distance: 20.5 km by bike; 21.3 km on foot
- Travel time: 2 hours 45 minutes by bike; 6 hours 30 minutes on foot
- Technical difficulties: Much of the Jesolo–Porte del Cavallino trail has a gravel surface. The left bank of the Sile–Piave Vecchia may have sections with tall grass that obstructs passage
- Recommended time of year: all seasons
- Other useful information: along the Jesolo-Porte del Cavallino route, you are not permitted to leave the road and enter the fields; this is a wildlife and hunting reserve that is closely and strictly monitored. Please be aware of the no-entry signs at the dock of the Port of Piave Vecchia

The Route:
The hike begins at the square in front of the church in Jesolo; cross the swing bridge over the Sile-Piave Vecchia and continue past the roundabout toward the junction with the provincial road to Jesolo-Lido. Pass the old town hall on your left and continue to the left at the fork, following the river along Via Cristo Re. After a few hundred meters, you’ll pass under the provincial road bridge and continue until you catch sight of the waters of Lake Nembalissa.
The trail then runs alongside the Dragojesolo Valley, passing a few rural dwellings before reaching the distinctive Palazzòn building. It continues along the river, which forms a wide bend, briefly moving away from the edge of the valley, hidden by a reclaimed agricultural area. After passing the ruins of Cà Marcello, an old dilapidated barn, the route continues through a setting of utter tranquility, in a landscape that seems unchanged by time.
Once you reach the historic Cavallino Gates, continue on to the navigation lock facilities, cross the metal walkways, and reach the main road that runs along the riverbank toward the Cavallino Bridge. Leaving the salt marshes of a small fishing valley on your left and a weighbridge suspended over the river on your right, you’ll reach the Punta Sabbioni-Jesolo Provincial Road. After passing the first roundabout, continue toward a second roundabout leading to the Port of Piave Vecchia. Once at the junction, keep left and follow the signs to reach the distinctive lighthouse.
Once you have finished exploring the riverbank at the mouth of the river, return to the Cavallino Bridge and head back along the route described.

Nearly 20,000 square meters of parkland await you near Piazza Milano in Jesolo Lido, offering you a truly relaxing experience just a stone's throw from the sea.
Grifone Park is divided into several areas, all featuring plenty of green spaces: one section of the vast park is equipped with modern fitness equipment, another is designed for children to play safely, while the rest of the park is dedicated to everyone’s well-being, with spacious areas where visitors can relax and recharge.

Trieste Park
Trieste Park, located in the central square of the same name, is a small oasis of relaxation in the heart of Lido di Jesolo. The park’s 5,000 square meters are designed with families in mind, featuring numerous play areas where children can play safely.
The green space is also perfect for picnics, thanks to areas specifically designed for packed lunches, and provides the perfect setting for a stroll through nature: explore the walking trail through the green dunes and the typical local vegetation.

Europa Park
Parco Europa is the largest park in Jesolo Paese, covering nearly 13,000 square meters. The park prides itself on its full accessibility: all areas are equipped with accessible entrances and spaces to facilitate access for people with disabilities and their companions.
Parco Europa has a unique style: in addition to the classic games and attractions found in most parks, it features elements designed to spark the imagination of young children, who are encouraged to create their own games using the tools provided.

Pegaso Park
Pegaso Park is a park dedicated to the winged horse of Greek mythology, and its various themed areas are inspired by its story.
In addition to its picturesque attractions, the park features a picnic area where, in the summer, you can enjoy a meal under the stars surrounded by nature.

Children's Rights Park - Ca’ Silis
The park is a vast green space covering 70,000 square meters, located halfway between Lido and Jesolo Paese, on the banks of the Sile River. The park offers a relaxing, idyllic setting, with spectacular summer sunsets. Inside the park, you’ll find various recreational facilities for the whole family, including a modern skatepark for those who love performing tricks. The park owes its name to a major initiative, strongly supported by the municipality of Jesolo in 2016, to remind us that institutions must strive every day to ensure the rights of minors are respected. The park is easily accessible by car or bicycle, thanks to the bike and pedestrian path on Via Roma Destra.
In addition to the area’s typical flora and fauna, the park is home to:
- two multipurpose sports fields
- a skatepark
- two bocce courts
- four play areas accessible to children with disabilities
- a fitness trail
- three designated picnic areas
- two small lakes
- Jesolo Rowing Club
A wide pedestrian path runs north to south through the center of the park, connecting the various trails and linking all the recreational areas.
The park is always open.
Pineta Park
Parco Pineta is perhaps Jesolo’s most famous green space, designed by the renowned Portuguese landscape architect João Ferreira Nunes in the heart of Lido di Jesolo, just a stone’s throw from the sea.
The area, characterized by a large number of tall trees, covers 16,500 square meters and serves as a true educational park for children, featuring trails dedicated to various botanical species and informational signs at key points.
The park was designed to enhance the existing pine forest and offers breathtaking views and panoramas, thanks in part to the wooden walkways that make a visit a must-see, for a unique moment of relaxation.
The park is not equipped for picnics and does not have playground equipment for children.
Swan Park
Parco dei Cigni is located in the center of Jesolo Paese, just a stone’s throw from City Hall. The park gets its name from the majestic birds that swim in the waters of the Sile River, which the park overlooks, offering an enchanting atmosphere and stunning sunsets, surrounded by nature.
The park features several areas with expansive green spaces and some truly picturesque viewpoints, making it an ideal venue for major events, including weddings. The children’s play area comes alive throughout the year with various activities, most notably “Fairy Tales in the Park,” an event where the fantastical world of children’s stories comes to life, offering a magical day for the whole family.
