VENETO WIND ORCHESTRA

On Thursday 28 July 2022, in Piazza Aurora, the emotions of great cinema will come alive with the most beautiful scores performed by the Veneto Wind Orchestra in the Movies Music Concert. Pieces from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly to Titanic, from The Magnificent Seven to Skyfall, will revive the emotions of great cinema.

Founded in 1988, the orchestra has around forty members including graduate musicians, conservatory students, and amateurs. The ensemble has taken part in numerous cultural events, gaining acclaim from specialist critics and the public. The diverse repertoire ranges from the baroque period up until today, from big band music to film scores, with pieces transcribed and elaborated especially for the ensemble and other original pieces for a wind orchestra.
The variety of repertoire is characteristic of the ensemble as it can meet the needs of differing audiences, while at the same time bringing the audience closer to more elaborate and demanding musical forms.

Concert begins at 9 p.m.
Free admission.
