From May 9 to October 4, 2026, Piazza Brescia will serve as the setting for a series of sculptures created by the most talented sand sculptors from around the world.

Change is one of nature’s most powerful forces and one of the most universal human experiences. With “The Power of Change,” the city invites visitors and guests to reflect on transformation, resilience, and renewal through monumental sand sculptures that celebrate positive evolution, growth, and hope.

The artists will explore natural transformations alongside human stories of innovation, unity, and renewal. Each work will become a visual narrative of progress and possibility, capable of speaking to audiences of all ages.

From April 18 to May 1, you can watch the sculptors at work! The artists—some of the world’s best sand sculptors—will be shaping the sand from April 18 to May 1, creating spectacular works inspired by metamorphosis, rebirth, and the ability to adapt. 

From May 9 to October 4, the sculptures will be on display to the public free of charge, transforming the heart of the city into an open-air museum.
