THE SAND NATIVITY

Since 2002, the best international sand sculptors have assembled in this seaside town to create a monumental nativity scene in sand. Since then, the number of visitors to this sand nativity scene has grown year after year, becoming one of the best-known nativity scenes in all of Italy. To date, over 1 million visitors have visited the Sand Nativity.

This year’s theme for the sand nativity scene focuses on the miracles of Jesus, an invitation to consider the profound link between faith and the hope of salvation and healing.

New location

THE TOWN OF CHRISTMAS

Christmas is a festival of lights, transforming the city into an enchanted place. Christmas lights take all children back to a joyous time. This charming tradition also comes to life in Jesolo, with A Sea of Lights.
From 20 to 28 November, the theme of ice gradually turns the city blue and white as if many small candles were being lit one by one.
This magical setting becomes the backdrop to your walks along Via Bafile, the longest pedestrian island in Europe.

A touch of magic with the Ice Nativity awaits you in Jesolo’s historical center. An 8-meter-high Christmas tree stands out among the numerous decorations that illuminate the center’s streets and avenues. Two large light installations of a snowflake and a ball shine and enchant people of all ages in this festive atmosphere

On Jesolo Lido, Piazza Marconi offers a stunning Christmas-themed sand sculpture. The decorated gazebo, all lit up, creates the perfect atmosphere for immortalizing those moments of peace and joy with a selfie.

Piazzas Carducci and Trieste are a riot of luminous decorations, making Jesolo’s main street sparkle as far as Piazza Aurora and then passing through Piazza Mazzini. Large Christmas trees and splendid light displays decorate the two squares.

In Piazza Drago, a 4-meter star lights up a large Christmas tree. At the same time, the statues of a nativity scene can be seen under the Christmas lights in Piazza Casabianca.

This magical pathway of light connects the city’s squares, from Piazza del Granatiere Cortellazzo to Via dei Mille. The decorations add their sparkle to a hope-filled Christmas in Piazzas Turin, Milano, Manzoni, Drago, Brescia, Marina, and Nember.
